QUESTIONS FROM CESS:
- What is the reason behind your blog’s URL?
Well, my blog’s all about my thoughts, feelings, experiences and interests which I want to share to other people. These are part of my memories which I want to be documented so I would have something to look back and reminisce in the future.
2. If you could go back to a certain year in your life, what age would that be and why?
I would like to go back when I was 15 and 16 years old. I had dear friends whom I cared so much then. However, because of a lot of circumstances, I lost them….or should I say, they gave up on me. I want to go back to those 2 years so I can make things right that would make me win them back. This is just one of the many regrets I have in life.
3. What is your favorite movie?
I have a lot of favorite movies, one of which is “A Moment To Remember”, which is a Korean movie. I cried at the last part of the movie. From my 2 years experience of working in a nursing home where the elderly are suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia, I have seen and I have heard stories like the one from this movie. I have felt pity, and compassion to the elderly and his/her family.
4. One song you could relate to.
Like movies, there are a lot of songs in which I could relate to. To mention one is, “As Long As I Have Music”.
5. If you are given the chance to travel to a certain country/place to photograph, where will you go?
I would love to go to Italy or France. There are a lot of subjects you can use in taking pictures in both countries. Both are rich in Art, Architecture, Fashion, Food, Climate and of course, Landscapes
6. What is your favorite restaurant?
I am only able to eat in a fancy restaurant once in a while. And so far, these are the restaurants that really touched my tongue, hehe. I loved the food in Bali Thai in Singapore, Mann Hann here in Manila and Ala Creme in Pampanga.
7. If you could meet anyone: living or dead, who would it be and why?
I would like to meet my first love and one of my friends in my elementary days. I want to spend time with him even for just a few moments, a chance I was never given before he died. I have a lot of questions that needs to be answered and I want him to clarify a lot of things which would really mean a lot to me.
8. If you could put yourself as a book character, who would you be?
If I could put myself as a book character, I would like to be Jennifer Parker from “Rage of Angels” by Sidney Sheldon. I loved her character especially on how she became a successful lawyer in spite of being framed before her career even started. She was romantically torn between a politician and a Mafia boss but she used her wisdom and intuition to overcome all the challenges she had to face. I can’t say she’s a martyr but she has made sacrifices for the man she loves, which, I have no doubt I would be willing to do if I was put on her shoes. With a lot of courage, she survived all the emotional, psychological, and financial problems she has encountered in dealing with a love loss as well as raising her child alone. But things didn’t end there. Her bravery in moving on with life was put to test again when she has to deal with Mafias and criminals and her child’s loss.
9. What is your talent?
I know and I am quite confident that I am good in singing and cooking.

11. What is your favorite dessert?
I have a lot of favourites. I can’t choose one, haha. To mention a few, I like Magnum ice cream especially Almond flavor, Leche Flan, Blueberry muffin, cinnamon roll, Sinful cake (chocolate cake from Ala Creme), Belgian chocolates, and Gelato in any flavour.

I’m gonna answer here ha:
1. Which part of the day is your favorite?
Night time, around 10PM to 3AM. Why? Because everything is quiet. I could hear my thoughts around these times. For photography, I like sunset.

3.What was one memorable/unforgettable moment from your childhood?

4.What is the funniest thing you ever did or funniest situation you have ever been?
Hubby and I were watching the WWII commemorative parade in Waikiki, Hawaii. Survivors from the WWII were being paraded around. I saw the words “Survivor”. So I whispered to hubby: “Yan ba ang contestants ng Survivor Series dito sa Hawaii?”. Hubby tried to stiffle his laughter when he answered, “No sweetie, yan yun mga survivors nung world war II”. I’ll bet I turned maroon that time. Buti na lang gabi na. Hehe.
5.What is the most scary thing that happened to you?
We were in Hawaii, hinabol kami ng isang crazy driver. Hubby drove while I maneuvered. We were on a tight street, buti na lang I have a great sense of direction so I shouted out some instructions to hubby where he would make his turn. Dinala ko sya sa interstate highway, coz there’s no effing way that crazy driver would be able to overtake us once we’re in the highway na. Once we’ve lost the other car, I was able to let go of my relaxed composure and show what I was truly feeling – my hands were shaking!
6.What is your most attractive feature?
Physically, that would be my eyes – they’re almond-shaped.

Money. I need money.

Money, my ID, and mobile phone.

When I was in college, the most romantic place was SM Megamall.
When I was working in Makati, it was St.Cinnamon (Glorietta branch).
Now that I’m married, it’s our home sa province.
Altho’ I always have this notion that Paris (infront of Eiffel Tower) at night, would be the most romantic place.
10.What musical instrument do you play? If not, which instrument would you like to learn playing?
I can play the piano. I’ve studied playing it when I was in highschool. Pero that’s a long time ago na.
11.What is your greatest regret in life?
That I pursued HRM, sana nag-premed na lang ako.
If I may, I would also like to answer these questions…hehe…addict lang!
1.My favorite parts of the day are dusk and dawn. I like staring at the sunset and sunrise. In some ways also, I like the time between 1am and 5am because that’s when it is most quiet and I like listening to music/radio especially when I can’t sleep. It is also the part of the day when I can think peacefully and reflect.
2. If I am an animal, I am a koala. I like cuddling and Ican’t live without companion. I always need my family and friends around or I won’t be able to survive life’s struggles.
3. I have lots of unforgettable memories from my childhood be it good or bad. To mention one, I remember when there was a black out in our province in Pangasinan. Because it was summer then, we had to get out of the house to breathe in fresh air. Me and my cousins stayed under the Santol tree sitting on dried logs and our only light is the bright moon. We exchanged thoughts, played jokes on each other and told stories. We stayed there for a few hours until it was time for bed. I loved my life in the province. Life was simpler then. And life then was about spending more time with families because there’s nothing much to do. Then was the time when the only appliances we had were electric fan, black and white tv with the knob where you turn it clockwise or counterclockwise to change the channel, and radio and no other gadgets. But even so, I enjoyed my childhood there.
4. Right now, I can’t think of any funny thing. I’ll get back to this question once I remember one instance.
5. One of the most scary thing that happened to me was when I have undergone biopsy for my thyroid. The doctor found a cyst as big as a marble and it causes pain when I swallow. So the doctor scheduled me for an ultrasound guided fine needle aspiration. The whole biopsy procedure was frightening. But the most frightening part is waiting for the result. With God’s grace, it wasn’t cancer and from then on, I had a different perspective in life.
6. My most attractive feature is my hair. I am always complimented with my curls.
7. Like you, I also can’t live without money. Most of the necessities in life can be bought with money.
8. We have the same top 3 things too. Money, Identification and mobile phone.
9. I always had the notion that Paris is the most romantic place.
10. I don’t play any musical instrument. But if I would be given a chance to learn to play one, I would like to play the violin. I like its quality of sound. That is one reason why I love country music and some classical music.
12. I have so many regrets in life. One of which is pursuing being a PT. I am starting to get tired of trying to be one. It is just so hard to find an opportunity/ job inclined to this career. Under certain circumstances, I am being hindered of pursuing my goals. Saving lives is my first love. But things aren’t easy as they seem. For other people, it may be easy but we all do not have the same fate. Luck, I believe, is a big part of life. Hardwork and skills will just complete the picture. Others say dreams do come true. But for me, I am just not so sure anymore. Reality is far from dreams. I may have regrets in life but the important thing is I have learned.
